Skicarousel Vintage Party: the retro grand finale of the 2025/2026 season

To bid farewell to winter in the most spectacular way, Alta Badia once again embraces nostalgia. On 5 and 6 April 2026, the Skicarousel Vintage Party will take the stage, an event celebrating the history of skiing and the authentic spirit of the Dolomites with a plunge into the golden years of mountain tourism. For two days, slopes, huts, and villages turn into a vast retro celebration where time seems to run backwards.

A weekend out of time

It’s considered the wildest weekend of the winter season: the slopes of Alta Badia host a huge on-snow party in perfect vintage style. Retro outfits, original gear, music, performances and plenty of fun recreate the atmosphere of decades past.

Vintage Village: the Saturday night you won’t expect

From 6 p.m. to midnight, the centre of La Villa will be closed to traffic and transformed into a true vintage village. Soft lights, live music and the creativity of local associations create a magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect moment to experience the mountains in a new, or perhaps old, way, surrounded by collective joy and a real desire to celebrate.

The vintage race: a dive into the ’70s and ’80s

Sunday opens with one of the most beloved traditions: the vintage-style ski race on the La Para slope. To take part, outfits and skis must be strictly pre-1990, carving skis are absolutely forbidden! A fun, scenic challenge created to celebrate the evolution of skiing and bring the spirit of the ’70s and ’80s back to the slopes.
The party then continues in the participating mountain huts (Piz Boé Alpine Lounge, Ütia Crëp de Munt, Ütia Bioch, Ütia La Tambra, Ütia I Tablá, Ütia La Para, Club Moritzino) with music and entertainment until 4.30 p.m. The grand finale awaits in Corvara with the official prize-giving ceremony and the closing party.

The Vintage After Party: an epic closing in Corvara

The magic continues right up to the last minute with the Vintage After Party in the Pineta area, in the heart of Corvara. Thanks to the collaboration with the Tennis Center and the Ice Stadium, you’ll find food stands and drink corners, while immersive music sets the tone for the final unmissable night of the season.
